VADODARA: Three government school teachers were booked by Chhota Udepur police after a video of theirs in an inebriated condition and sleeping at a school in Sankheda taluka became viral on social media. On Friday, the district primary education officer of Chhota Udepur suspended two teachers who teach in Chhota Udepur.
Ajitkumar Patel, chief teacher, and Vinesh Machhi, who also teaches at the same school in Gunder village, and Vijay Patel, who teaches in Vadodara district, were found drunk by some youth.

When they found something suspicious, they started recording the teachers’ video on their mobile phones and started questioning them. The teachers were not able to walk properly when the youth woke them up and empty bottles of liquor were also found from a bag.
Chhota Udepur district development officer Mihir Patel had ordered a probe after he too came across the duo’s video. The inquiry conducted by the officials found that prima facie the two teachers were drunk, they had consumed non-veg biryani and were sleeping at the school at night.
