Man-of-the-Match Manish Pandey (83* off 47; 8x6s & 4x4s):"There were enough talks around our middle order. High time for us to perform. I just wanted to stay on the wicket and play my shots. Really happy that it came off today. We had the opportunity to win the game for SRH, really happy I'm standing here. We had plans to see Jofra off. We had a plan to take on the leggies and Indian bowlers, and it paid off.The first ball I middled through covers and I tried to keep my shape. I was hitting it well and I tried to get my team over the line. Vijay was also long due and he stepped up batting at 4. We are trying to take positives from this match and we'll try to keep it up for the rest of the tournament."
SRH skipper David Warner:"I think the way we started was fantastic. We were able to bring it back after the powerplay. It's been a complete game, we have been asking for. Good to see two guys getting the reward. I was frustrated. You try hard to get through the first over, but with someone bowling at 150ks, you can't do much. You can take him on. We saw a lot of dew last night during training, and it came in again. Jason adds strength to our bowling, his experience, he's an all-round package. He's a great inclusion. We do have a middle order, there are always question on it. We haven't lost early wickets before, so they haven't got a chance. I have said in the past, we are a better defending team. You have to back yourself, no matter what. This cold weather and dew comes in."
Vijay Shankar (52* off 51 balls | 3-0-15-1):"I have been bowling pretty well, I don't know when I will get the ball so I just wanted to be ready whenever I'm called. I tried to take pace off, hit the hard length and bowl cross-seamed. We just thought we should take the game deep. We knew Jofra would come hard at us. Personally this was a do-or-die game for me. I batted just 18 balls prior to this. It was a good challenge and I was looking forward to something like this because it will give me a lot of confidence if I do well in that situation. I asked Manish if I should go for the shots because I didn't want him to feel the pressure because of me and play a rash shot. We were communicating in that partnership, that's why we were able to take the game deep."
RR skipper Steve Smith: "We started well, Jofra taking two big wickets early but we couldn't keep the foot on the pedal. Vijay played smart innings and Manish took the game on and played really nicely. I consulted a few other boys, it was talked about (giving (Jofra another over up front) but opted against and in hindsight after what happened, probably would've given him one more over. It was on my mind. It (the wicket) got better as the game went on. It was slow and stopping in the first innings, it was one of those wickets which was quite hard to start on. We needed some more runs in the first innings. I can't put my finger on anything, there are plenty of good players and good teams. We haven't been able to pull back to back wins. We just need to keep winning and don't how things will work for us mathematically, we have to keep winning, that's our job now."

Manish Pandey remained unbeaten on 83 off 47 balls as he smacked eight sixes and four fours. The duo added 140 runs for the third wicket for Hyderabad. It's SRH's first victory while chasing in fifth attempt.

Jason Holder (4-0-33-3):"Good to get a game. It's been a long time, a few years off the IPL circuit, good to be back. I was pleased with the way I bowled. Just tried to think a little ahead of the batters. Upfront, it's difficult in the powerplay at times. I tried not to be too predictable. It was an opportunity to get wickets at the back end when the guys are going hard at you. I try to think as a batter. It's hard on these grounds with the ways these guys are playing these days. I think it is a par total, something we can chase. I think it's slow, got better as it went on. There's a bit of dew starting to form, maybe it will be a bit difficult in the second half for the bowlers trying to grip the ball. With the dew factor now, I think it's something we can definitely chase."

Third wicket for Holder as he ended young Parag's cameo - 20 off 12 balls with the help of a six and two fours. Holder bowled a wide after taking Smith's wicket, but came up with a slower wide short ball and Parag only managed to skied it. Warner took a good catch after moving backward from mid-off, the SRH skipper fumbled but managed to hold on to it.

BOWLED! Stokes' struggling effort came to an end as he missed the ball entirely and it ricocheted off his pad onto the stumps. Stokes departed after scoring 30 off 32 balls which included just two fours. Two wickets in four balls will clearly have a big impact on Rajasthan's total especially when the two were the set batsmen. Two new batsmen in the middle now.

David Warner:"We are gonna bowl. I don't think too much is going to change. The last game here, it held up a bit more in the first half of the game. It came on quite nice in the back end. We just have to wait and see. It's alright, we get another game today (when he was told that his team hasn't been successful while chasing). He's (KW) done something to his quad, that's unfortunate. We have the big man Holder coming in. Nadeem is in for Thampi. It's been tough not to include him (Holder) in the team before. Things have changed and we have to try something different. I am always nice and calm. After a couple of losses, I was a bit edgy, now have had time to relax and gather my thoughts. It's quite difficult in the bubble. For us, it's about coming out and putting our best foot forward."

"It's a great surface, it's the same surface that they played on the last game. The groundsman has done a fantastic job. There's a bit of grass on top, but it's dry and hard underneath. The teams won't be too worried about it. This pitch, under lights, has quickened up a little bit. Little bit of dew settling in, not heavy to notice, but quickening up the pitch enough for the batsmen to have enough pace to execute their strokes and maybe making the outfield little bit faster. It's not a bad thing to chase. If you are batting first and if you are not getting the pace off the pitch, don't fight in.
