It was yet another hectic summer transfer window for Swansea City.

Steve Cooper made a total of 10 signings, with four new recruits arriving at the Liberty Stadium on deadline day.

And there were some big name departures too.

Here's the full lowdown on how those who left Swansea in the most recent window have fared since moving on to pastures new.

(List only includes players who featured for the Swans' first team.)

Courtney Baker-Richardson

The striker joined Accrington Stanley on loan for the 2019/20 season but was restricted to just four appearances in all competitions for the club due to injury and the coronavirus pandemic.

Following the expiration of his Swansea contract, he was released after three years with the club.

After having a trial with Charlton Athletic, Baker-Richardson joined David Dunn's Barrow earlier this month.

However, the 24-year-old has undergone surgery after suffering a hip injury and is yet to make his debut for the League Two outfit.

In a post on Twitter, the frontman wrote: "This is definitely not the start I expected @BarrowAFC, but the comeback is always greater than the setback.

"Surgery done, now focused on my recovery and rehab. Can’t wait to get back in amongst it. #Unbreakable."

Jefferson Montero

Montero spent the 2019/20 campaign on loan at Birmingham City, although the winger was released in the summer after six years as a Swansea player.

The Ecuadorian has been blighted by injuries during the course of his career, with hamstring problems in particular severely limiting his impact during his time with the Swans.

Reports in south America recently suggested that Montero was offered to Uruguayan outfit Club Atlético Peñarol.

However, at present, Montero - who scored two goals in his 84 appearances for Swansea - is still a free agent.

Erwin Mulder

The Dutchman made six appearances for Swansea in the latter stages of the 2019/20 season after Freddie Woodman's injury late on in the 1-0 loss to Leeds United.

However, after Woodman re-joined on loan from Newcastle United and Steven Benda returned from his loan stint with Swindon Town, Mulder was released.

The goalkeeper signed a three-year deal with former club Heerenveen after leaving Swansea.

He has started all five of the Eredivisie outfit's league games so far this term, keeping two clean sheets.

Mike van der Hoorn

The Dutchman's four-year association with Swansea came to an end in the summer as he was released by the club.

The centre-back joined newly-promoted Arminia Bielefeld on a three-year contract after leaving south Wales.

The 28-year-old has played the full 90 minutes in each of his side's opening four Bundesliga matches so far this term, with the club claiming four points from a possible 12 to sit in 14th.

Following his Swans exit, van der Hoorn spoke about the reasons behind his departure.

Bersant Celina

The Kosovan endured a difficult 2019/20 campaign, and, in truth, the writing always looked on the wall for him at Swansea in the summer.

Dijon registered an interest in the attacker before signing him for just shy of £3m ahead of the current season.

Celina made his debut in a 2-0 loss to Stade Brest on September 13 and has featured in four of his side's seven Ligue 1 games so far this term.

His new club are rock bottom of France's top division having claimed just two points from seven games, although Celina did manage to register two assists in his side's 2-2 draw with Montpellier last month, as well as being booked.

Kristoffer Peterson

There was huge controversy surrounding the Sweden international's departure, with Steve Cooper admitting he planned to include Peterson in his squad to face Millwall before being urged not to do so by chief executive Julian Winter.

The winger - whose sole appearance for Swansea this term came in the 2-0 Carabao Cup loss to Newport County - went on to join Fortuna Dusseldorf for a fee in the region of £400,000 after making just 12 appearances in all competitions for the Swans.

The 25-year-old made his debut for the German outfit in a 2-2 draw with Regensburg on Saturday, coming on at half time with his side trailing by two goals.

His new club are currently 12th in 2. Bundesliga having claimed four points from their opening four league games.

Joel Asoro

Like Peterson, Asoro's only outing for Swansea this term came in the cup defeat to Newport.

But h e later joined Genoa on a season-long loan deal.

The Italian club have the option to make Asoro's deal permanent next summer.

The Swedish wideman is yet to make his debut for the club, who have had a mixed start to the new campaign having beaten Crotone 4-1 before being thumped 6-0 by Napoli and drawing 0-0 with Fabio Borini's former club Hellas Verona.

Joe Rodon

The central defender left his boyhood club on transfer deadline day.

Rodon signed a five-year deal with Tottenham who paid £11m for the Wales international in a deal that could be worth up to £15m for Swansea.

He was not signed in time to be registered in Spurs' Europa League squad, and, despite missing out on his side's 3-3 draw with West Ham, the 23-year-old's first taste of action is likely to come in the Premier League.

Brandon Cooper

The centre-back has been a key figure under Michael Flynn since making the loan move to Newport County.

Cooper has already featured 10 times in all competitions for the Exiles, with three of those outings coming in the Carabao Cup as Newport, who defeated Swansea in the opening round, went on to beat Cambridge United and Watford before suffering a heartbreaking penalty shootout loss to Newcastle in round four.

Flynn's men are currently joint-top of the League Two table, and Cooper is certainly benefiting from getting regular game time at Rodney Parade.

Newport have kept three clean sheets in their six league games with Cooper in the side.

Jack Evans

Wales Under-21 international Evans needed regular minutes and joined Mansfield Town on loan in January, although the Covid-19 outbreak hampered his progress with the Stags.

And he linked up with former Swansea City youth coach Cameron Toshack at Pafos FC for the 2020/21 season.

Evans made his debut for the Cypriot club as a late substitute in a 1-0 triumph over Nea Salamis. He most recently helped his side defeat reigning champions APOEL 1-0, with the academy product playing the full 90 minutes.

However, after that stunning triumph, Pafos parted company with Toshack.

Barrie McKay

The Scot was deemed surplus to requirements by boss Steve Cooper after returning from his stint with Fleetwood Town in the latter half of last season.

After being told he can leave the Swans, McKay re-joined Joey Barton's side on loan for the duration of the current campaign.

He mas made four appearances for Fleetwood this term, although the Cod Army failed to win any of those matches. He registered an assist in his side's 2-1 loss to Rochdale.

McKay's Swansea contract expires next summer.

Nathan Dyer

The winger was released by the Swans following the conclusion of the protracted 2019/20 season.

His departure was shrouded in mystery, with the club yet to officially confirm Dyer's departure as they did with others who departed in the summer.

However, last month, it was revealed that Dyer is continuing to train with Swansea at their Fairwood base as he bids to stay in top shape as he aims to find himself a new club after more than a decade in south Wales.

Speaking about the 32-year-old, Cooper said: "Nathan’s still training with us on a daily basis. He is looking for another club. He will tell you that as well.

"But he’ll always be welcome here. I reminded the squad, the ones who have been here a while, and even the new boys, about Nathan’s contribution in terms of his appearances and his successes as an individual because, as a lot of you know, he’s an excellent role model, but he’s been a winner.

"To still have him around is a real benefit and he's very helpful to the young players. He’s even happy to train with the Under-23s.

"He’s just a naturally giving guy in terms of what he can offer. So Nathan’s still very visible around the training ground, and that’ll be for as long as he wants to be."
