HYDERABAD: Senior Congress leader and former member of
National Disaster Management Authority Marri Shashidhar Reddy on Thursday alleged that both TRS and BJP are playing politics over the
rain havoc and floods in Hyderabad.
In a statement, he said that there was no permanent plan for the city to face this kind of situation. “Though TRS has been in power for the last six years, it has not done anything towards mitigating the problem,” he said.
He said the BJP is showing overenthusiasm in sending the central team. “The
central team should come only after the state government sends a full report on the floods,” he said.
