Sunrisers Hyderabad had their sweet revenge over Rajasthan Royals on Thursday following their defeat to Steve Smith's men in the reverse fixture on October 11. The Royals, who are lighting up the social media game in IPL 2020, came up with a cheeky post after their win earlier this month, playing with the emotions of Hyderabad fans.

Banter over Biryani: SRH win social media game too

The Royals called for a 'Large Biryani' to celebrate the win which came after young Riyan Parag and Rahul Tewatia pulled off a stunner in chase of 159. The post went viral as the Royals celebrated their win over the Sunrisers.

However, after Thursday's win, the Sunrisers Hyderabad kept the post in mind and came with a reply to poke fun at the Royals: "Cancel the biryani order our friends can't handle the level of spice. P.S. : Daal baati should just do fine."

It was an all-round effort from Sunrisers Hyderabad on Thursday as Jason Holder, who had replaced an injured Kane Williamson, shone with the ball in his very first match of IPL 2020. SRH managed to restrict RR to 154 in 20 overs.

Jofra Archer gave the Royals a fine start, removing the two biggies, David Warner and Jonny Bairstow in his first two overs. However, Manish Pandey and Vijay Shankar stitched an unbeaten 140-run stand to take SRH past the finish line.

RR missed out on an opportunity to break into the top 4 but SRH jumped to the 5th spot after their win in Dubai.
