With some attacking batsmen in the opposition, Khan's prowess in the middle overs could be crucial, a phase where his economy this season is only 5.31.

David Warner: Though Warner has not scored as many as he did last season, he still looks in respectable touch. He has got 335 runs at an average of 37.22, including six scores of 30-plus in ten innings. That means you would rather have him around.

KL Rahul: Rahul is currently the Orange Cap holder with 540 runs at a strike rate of 135.67. He has scored 50 or more in six out of ten innings this season, including a century. Since 2018, Rahul averages 52.75 against the Sunrisers, against whom he has two fifties in his last three innings.

Jonny Bairstow: Bairstow is only behind Warner among the Sunrisers' highest run-getters so far this season. Given Williamson is likely to miss this game, more responsibility falls on his shoulders. The last time these two teams met, Bairstow scored a belligerent 97.

Nicholas Pooran: Pooran has been striking the ball well, having hit 22 sixes so far in the tournament with a frequency of a six almost every seven balls. He has scored 295 runs at a strike rate of 183.22, with his highest score of 77 coming against the Sunrisers in their previous encounter.

Ravi Bishnoi: Young Bishnoi has bowled some tough overs in his maiden IPL stint. He has also picked up nine wickets at an impressive economy of 7.91. Bishnoi got 3 for 29 - his best haul this season - the last time these two teams met.
