Mark Robins's Coventry City selection problems haven't eased since Tuesday night's point against Swansea went a long way to restoring confidence following back-to-back Championship defeats.

In fact, they have got worse with the news that their midweek goal scorer, Jordan Shipley, will sit out tomorrow's game against Blackburn Rovers due to suffering concussion following a clash of heads against the Swans.

Throw in the on-going injury to Fankaty Dabo, fact that Tyler Walker is self isolating and Gus Hamer's suspension, and the Sky Blues are starting to have a distinctly 'bare bones' look about them.

That couldn't come at a worse time given the gruelling turn-around of fixtures as City face a run of Saturday/Tuesday/Friday on the back of the games against Brentford and Swansea in the space of three days.

Fortunately the back three and goalkeeper pretty much pick themselves unless Robins decides to rest elder statesman Kyle McFadzean and throw Leo Ostigard back into the mix.

The wing-back slots are likely to stay the same with Sam McCallum expected to continue to deputise for Dabo on the right, with Josh Pask an alternative option from the bench.

Ryan Giles will almost certainly operate on the left flank where he has proved to be an effective outlet in most games so far this term.

The middle of the park picks itself, not least because of Hamer and Shipley's absence.

Jamie Allen filled in alongside holding man Ben Sheaf on Tuesday night at the bottom of the box midfield but is expected to play further forward in place of Shipley against Rovers, with skipper Liam Kelly coming back into the starting line-up.

Allen and Callum O'Hare are expected to operate at the top of the box, offering support to the in-form Matty Godden.

Have you got a Sky Blues-related story to tell? Do you want to get something off your chest about a recent performance? Or have you got any brilliant match day videos or photographs you'd like to share? Well, you're in the right place.

Our man at Sky Blues said: "I am often asked if I’m a City fan. The answer is yes, boy and man, since my dad stood me on a stool in the old Spion Kop at Highfield Road to watch the likes of Mick Coop, Tommy Hutchison, Mick Ferguson and Ian Wallace in their pomp.

"I want to get amongst the fan base who pay their hard-earned cash to follow the boys, giving supporters a voice about all things CCFC whether it's a talking point from a game or an incident or issue not being dealt with, drop me a line and get in touch. As always, PUSB!"
