Man-of-the-match Chris Jordan (4-0-17-3):"Feel great, proud of the team. We had a tough start, but we kept the belief. It's part of parcel of life to miss a few. The coaches and the teams are trying their best to get the best combination, to win four in a row is really pleasing. Arshdeep backed his skills and it come off. I just tried to support him to make it clear for him.
I just tried to bowl a quiet over to give Arshdeep as much as I could to defend."
KXIP skipper KL Rahul:"Yes we are making it a habit. In the first half we somehow couldn't make this a habit. I am just speechless right now to be honest. Very happy with the show from the boys. The work done is always behind the scenes, not just the players, but the support staff. You can't change much in a player in two months but you can always make them mentally better and that's what coach Kumble, Andy, Charl, Jonty and Wasim have done. After me and Mandeep played the first over we know it's not a high scoring wicket. We were thinking close to 160. They went hard in the first six. But I knew we could pull things back if we don't leak many runs in the powerplay as we have two leggies. We sat down and thought about the things that the bowlers would need in conditions like these and it's good to see the work paying off."
SRH skipper David Warner:"Yeah it does (hurt a lot). Our bowlers did a fantastic job to restrict them. After the start we got, we took our foot off the pedal. Felt on that wicket it was going to get tougher once the spin came into it. For us it was about trying to apply pressure upfront, negate the swing bowling, but obviously we didn't get across the line. They bowled well with the new ball (his bowlers). Didn't get all the wickets upfront but we brought it back well. Today our bowlers executed the plans well, very happy with them. Just have to forget this game and move forward."
Arshdeep Singh (3.5-0-23-3):"We saw an opportunity for the win and tried our best and thankfully, it went our way. The plan was to bowl it into the wicket and bowl as many slower balls and it worked. I have been backed up really well by the management and good that we are starting to get some momentum as a team. The plan was to keep it simple (On Vijay Shankar's wicket) and let them hit on the bigger side and it worked."
That's it!
Kings XI Punjab (126/7) beat Sunrisers Hyderabad (114 all out) by 12 runs. Punjab looked out of the game early in the Hyderabad chase when Warner and Bairstow added 56 for the opening wicket, but they somehow pulled off an unlikely victory to register their fifth win in 11 games. It's their four victories in a row and more importantly, KXIP keep their play-off hopes alive.

Sandeep Sharma (4-0-29-2): "Very happy and it was very satisfying to get to 100 wickets. I was trying to get there for the last two games, and am glad to get it against my ex-team. The celebration was thanking God, and that's why I wrote it in the air. Actually I back my strengths and believe in them, at the same time work on the field placements. I speak to the other bowlers like Jason Holder about these field placements, and it is really helping me. When the ball doesn't swing after one over, I try to bowl at the stumps as much as possible and not give room to the batsmen. I try to play around with the two fielders in the deep. Even if batsmen score against me, I try to ensure they find the fielders."
20 overs: KXIP 126/7
Superb final over from T Natarajan, who bowled three straight dot balls in it. The pacer started with a wide and that was followed by a boundary hit by Nicholas Pooran, who remained unbeaten on 32 off 28 balls, but he composed himself and conceded just nine runs in it.

TOSS | Sunrisers Hyderabad skipper David Warner wins toss, opts to bowl against Kings XI Punjab in Dubai
Captains at the toss:
KL Rahul:"I would've liked to bowl as well. We've batted second in the last few games which we've won. The wicket shouldn't change much, it looks good. Winning obviously gives the group a lot of confidence especially when it comes against the top three teams. Different people have put their hands up in all three games which was pleasing. We had to win each game in the second half and we're taking it one game at a time. Chris has been a big matchwinner, he has come good and brings calm and a winning spirit into the dressing room. He keeps the mood of the dressing room very light and the boys love playing with him. There have been different people in different games, the bowling has come good as well. Maxwell coming good in the last game gives confidence to the group. Hopefully we can play aggressive cricket. Two changes - Mayank Agarwal and Jimmy Neesham miss out and Mandeep Singh and Chris Jordan come in."
David Warner:"We're going to have a bowl first. I think the last game proved that a little bit of dew came towards the end. Towards the back end there was a bit of pace on the wicket. Each game presents a new challenge, these guys are on a roll and it was nice for us as well to win the last game and get some momentum. We have spoken a lot about our middle order and it was nice to see the guys play without risk in the last game. Khaleel Ahmed comes in for Nadeem."

Pitch Report:
"What we're seeing at the back-end of this tournament is a little bit of grass being left on the surface. The grass gives a little bit of pace and bounce. So what we're seeing is a different tactic, where captains want to bat second. These slightly cooler nights mean dew and the ball skidding on later in the evening. 165-170 looks par." - Simon Doull
KXIP's Glenn Maxwell:"Going well, to take down the top three teams in the last week has been really rewarding. Things have started to go our way, things can be fickle in T20s. To get little parts of the game to fall our way feels nice. It has been a tough few games at the start of the tournament, to not have wins in such tight games was hard on the boys. But we now have a chance to make it to the top four. Pretty chilled out change room, we haven't gone very high or low. Credit to the backroom staff, there are so many highs and lows in T20 cricket. I might not be getting the runs, but I was training really well. I only had three or four balls to face at the back end of the innings in a lot of games, but I was hitting the ball well. I wasn't losing focus, not getting too hard on myself. Last match was nice to spend some more time in the middle and help out the side to get to a win. Hopefully it is a stepping stone for the team."
