ON a normal day, you wouldn’t think Spain’s prime minister and reality star Kim Kardashian had much in common.
But both have been shunned for unjustified extravagance in private party controversies today.
“After 2 weeks of multiple health screens and asking everyone to quarantine, I surprised my closest inner circle with a trip to a private island where we could pretend things were normal just for a brief moment in time,” said Kardashian online.
After listing the many and marvellous activities they enjoyed, Kardashian was labelled ‘insensitive’ for the bizarre post. But many have argued the reality star is entitled to spend her money how she wishes.
Meanwhile, prime minister Sanchez faces backlash as evidence has emerged that he hosted a private party in the Donana National Park in August 2019 funded by public money.
An employee at the national park in Huelva alleged that multiple SUVs drove at least 10 friends of the prime minister, along with their wives and children, into the protected area for a party.
The Council for Transparency and Good Governance has asked the leader to respond to the allegations but he has yet to make a statement.
Guests allegedly took over the beach accompanied by a horde of balaclava-wearing police for security.
