Ivanka Trump to Speak at MCCTC Saturday

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Ivanka Trump, eldest daughter of President Donald Trump and one of the president’s closest advisers, will speak Saturday at Mahoning County Career and Technical Center in Canfield, the campaign confirmed today.

U.S. Sen. Rob Portman, R-Ohio, will join the Trump surrogate at the noon event, where she will share the president’s “Make America Great Again” agenda, according to an advisory issued by the campaign.

Doors will open for the event at 10:30 a.m. and the public can register here. People can register for up to two tickets per mobile number and tickets are available on a first come, first serve basis.

Early media reports speculated that Trump would speak at a venue in Niles, though Thursday’s advisories said she would be in Youngstown. Her oldest brother, Donald J. Trump Jr., spoke Monday at Blue Wolf Events at the Maronite Center in Youngstown.

“I’m excited to be back in the Buckeye state to discuss how President Trump has delivered for hard working Ohioans,” she said. “My father has renegotiated unfair trade deals, advocated for school choice, fought against the scourge of human trafficking, increased access to affordable child care and cut taxes for hard working families.”

Ohioans have “a fighter” in Trump who “will continue to fight for them for four more years,” she added.
