Going into Monday night’s game against the Buccaneers, nobody expected the Giants to win. When the game ended, it was stunning that they lost. Daniel Jones threw two inexcusable interceptions. The refs picked up a flag for defensive pass interference. The Giants lost the game 25-23 and fell to 1-7 in what was a nightmare first half of the season. This team could very well be 4-4 or 3-5. The guys dive into Monday’s loss to open the show. Jones continues forcing balls into spots when he should be throwing the ball away or even taking a sack. Constant turnovers will eventually get a quarterback benched. Jones has an important second half of the season ahead of him. The guys discuss the refs picking up the flag on the two-point conversion that could have tied the game in the final minute. They talk about the good signs, which was the young offensive line playing well, including Shane Lemieux playing the entire game and Andrew Thomas’ improved performance. The other good sign is Patrick Graham and the defense, which continues to shine despite not having tons of talent.
