TRICHY: A new
taluk office for
Perambalur town, built at a cost of Rs 2.53 crore, was inaugurated by chief minister Edappadi K Palaniswami through video conferencing Wednesday.
With a combined floor space of 20,000 square feet, the taluk office's first floor will comprise a social security scheme office, district supply office and a conference hall.
The ground floor provides space for the Perambalur tahsildar, field surveyor and a records room.
Both floors have separate toilets for men, women and differently-abled visitors.
