Bihar elections: Candidate shot at in Darbhanga

DARBHANGA: Unidentified criminals shot at an independent candidate from Hayaghat constituency Ravindra Nath Singh alias Chintu Singh on Thursday night. It caused serious injury on his abdomen and he was admitted at Darbhanga Medical College and Hospital late in the night.
The victim is a resident of Dubauli village in Mituliya panchayat under Baheri block. According to police sources, the incident was not related to poll but due to personal enmity.Darbhanga SSP Babu Ram said investigation will begin after the victim's statement in hospital.
