For India Cheteshwar Pujara piled up massive 521 runs in four matchens. The difference between his run tally with that of Rishabh Pant, the second-highest run-scorer in the series, was 171. Virat Kohli amassed 282 runs, while vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane aggregated 217 runs.

For Australia, Marcus Harris was the top run-getter with 258 runs. Travis Head was second in the list for them with 237 runs.

Most Wickets

This was the most delightful aspect for India in the seires. Jasprit Bumrah led the pace attack beautifully and scalped 21 wickets, the joint-most in the series with Australia spinner Nathan Lyon. Mohammad Shami and Ishant Sharma hunted 16 and 11 Australian wickets respectively. In the spin depatment Ravindra Jadeja got 7 wickets from his 2 matches. Ravichandran Ashwin and Kuldeep got 6 and 5 wickets repectively from the one match they played during the tour.

Nathan Lyon (21 wickets) was Australia's most successful bowler, In the pace department Pat Cummins, Josh Hazewood and Mitchell Starc took 14, 13 and 13 wickets repectively.

Overall, Indian bowlers managed to take 70 wickets in the Test series, while Australia managed 60.

Most hundreds and highest score in an innings

Cheteshwar Pujara aka 'The White Walker' smashed as many as 3 hundreds, the most by any batsman on the tour. He also hold the record for highest score by any batsman in an innigs during the 2018-19 tour. He scored 197 runs in the final Test in Sydney. Rishabh Pant scored an unbeaten 159 in Sydney.

Highest team total in an innings

Quite naturally India outshined Australia in this section as well. India's 622/7d in Sydney and 443/7d in Melbourne were the two highest innings total in the series. Australia's highest was 326 in Perth.

Best bowling figures

Pat Cummins' 6 wickets for 27 runs and Jasprit Bumrah's 6 wickets by spending 33 runs are the two most successul bowling figures from India's historic tour of Australia in 2018-19. Mohammad Shami and Nathan Lyon also got a 6-for each in the series.
