Border Security Force (BSF) organised a para-cycling expedition 'Infinity Ride 2020’ in Srinagar. Director General (DG) of Border Security Force (BSF), Rakesh Asthana, flagged off the special cycling expedition from Kashmir to Kanyakumari to support and empower the specially-abled personnel. Asthana said, "Such events not only strengthen the spirit but also give inspiration to the specially-abled personnel and also these sports develop sportsman spirit, which is a very different type of feeling. BSF is not only first line of defence but also help locals, wherever we are posted and keep them together with a feeling of safety." Participants from various parts of the country have participated in the expedition. They hailed the initiative taken by the BSF. "BSF’s para-cycling expedition 'Infinity Ride 2020’ is a great experience. This is an initiative by DG BSF to keep those personnel who became specially-abled, in mainstream. Such events should be held frequently in the future as well," a participant said. This 40-day long cycle expedition is an initiative to bring the atmosphere light amid serious border situation.
