BJP MLA Vijay Sinha elected Bihar Speaker with 126 votes amidst ruckus in Assembly

National Democratic Alliance (NDA) candidate Vijay Sinha was elected as the Speaker of Bihar Legislative Assembly on Wednesday with 126 votes as opposed to 114 votes secured by Grand Alliance candidate Awadh Bihar Chaudhary. Both Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) MLA Awadh Bihari Chaudhary and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Vinay Sinha filed their nomination in Patna for the Assembly Speaker's chair on Tuesday.
