On October 5, the CBI conducted searches at 14 locations linked to Shivakumar and his family.
The places are in Karnataka, Delhi and Mumbai. Officers had said that they recovered Rs 57 lakh and several documents and a computer hard disk.

He was expected to appear for questioning on Monday (November 23), but as he was campaigning in North Karnataka, he sought another date. On Wednesday, he requested a shorter session on account of Patel’s demise.
Before visiting the CBI office, Shivakumar accused the BJP government at the Centre of misusing agencies to target him.
