Priyanshu Painyuli to marry girlfriend Vandana Joshi in Dehradun today
Priyanshu Painyuli, who we recently saw in Mirzapur 2, is all set to tie the knot with his longterm girlfriend actor-dancer Vandana Joshi in Dehradun. He will reportedly take a break from the shoot of Taapsee Pannu's Rashmi Rocket for the wedding.
Priyanshu Painyuli, who we recently saw and loved for his performance in Amazon Prime Video's Mirzapur 2, is tying the knot with longterm girlfriend, actor-dancer Vandana Joshi. The couple had planned to get hitched this year, however, their wedding plans were stalled due to the novel coronavirus pandemic. However, now they will have a mountain wedding in Dehradun today, November 26, following all necessary safety protocol. They plan to host a reception in Mumbai in the second week of December with not more than 50 people, as mandated. Priyanshu Painyuli, who is currently shooting for Taapsee Pannu's Rashmi Rocket, will take a break from the schedule for his wedding.
PRIYANSHU PAINYULI TO GET MARRIED TODAY
In an interview to Hindustan Times, Priyanshu said, “We’ve been thinking of getting married early this year but didn’t have a date in mind and then Covid happened. So we had to change our plans but we didn’t want to postpone the wedding. We thought why not end the year on a happy note.”
The wedding ceremonies will take place between November 25 and November 28, including a sangeet and cocktail ceremony on Wednesday (November 25), followed by a reception in Dehradun on Friday, November 27. The 31-year-old actor also informs that there will be just 50 guests attending the events, 25 from each side.
HOW DID PRIYANSHU AND VANDANA MEET?
The couple first met in 2013, during their theatre days in Mumbai. They were both part of Vaibhavi Merchant’s musical Taj Express and got close to each other while travelling with the show. Interestngly, Priyanshu and Vandana played lead roles in it. Since then, they've both seen ups and downs in their respective careers and have sort of grown-up together.
WHO IS VANDANA JOSHI?
Vandana is also an actor and a dancer. She has done TV and is known for Dil Se Diya Vachan and Teri Meri Love Stories. She's also done theatre work and two musicals. Vandana will soon be doing a web series. She was born and raised in Delhi, but now lives in Mumbai.
