    CBI raids over 30 places in West Bengal in connection with Coal Scam

    New Delhi/Kolkata: The CBI's anti-corruption branch today searched 30 locations in West Bengal in connection with a coal smuggling racket, allegedly led by in Asansol based kingpin named Anup Majhi. Premised being raided include offices and homes of Mr. Majhi's associates in Asansol, Durgapur, and Raniganj in Burdwan district, as well as Bishnupur in the South 24 Parganas district.
