Jabalpur: 2 arrested in connection with mysterious elephants death

Two persons have been arrested after the mysterious death of a wild elegant in Madhya Pradesh’s Jabalpur district. The tusker’s carcass was found near Mohas area in Bargi Range on November 27. This is the second jumbo death in Madhya Pradesh since August 28, when a female was accidentally electrocuted in Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve. Environmentalist Ajay Dubey has reportedly alleged that the elephant’s tusks were missing. However, The chief wildlife warden had denied Dubey’s allegation.
