Texas A&M quick hits: Aggies, LSU trade major momentum swings in less than a minute

This LSU-A&M meeting had a was-his-knee-down moment, just not as controversial as the seven-overtime marathon of 2018.

COLLEGE STATION — The second quarter Saturday between Texas A&M and LSU featured two major momentum swings in less than a minute.

A&M quarterback Kellen Mond tried a fourth-and-1 quarterback sneak at the LSU 5 and had the ball knocked away as he tried to jump over the top. The Tigers recovered in a mad scramble at the 15.

After a 54-yard completion from TJ Finley to Terrace Marshall Jr., LSU had an apparent 31-yard touchdown when Kayshon Boutte made a leaping catch near the sideline. But the pass was ruled incomplete upon review with Boutte unable to secure the catch while going out of bounds.
