NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday visited his parliamentary constituency Varanasi on the occasion of Dev Deepawali. During his day-long visit, PM Modi inaugurated six-lane Varanasi- Prayagraj project ahead of participating in Dev Deepawali festivities. He will also visit the Sarnath archaeological site. In the backdrop of farmers' agitation in the capital, PM also spoke about how new farm laws will empower farmers.

- On this auspicious day of Dev Deepawali and Gurupurab, the people of Varanasi also get the gift of this six-lane highway.
