Virat Kohli is pregnant Anushka Sharma's yoga buddy as she tries shirshasana
Anushka Sharma shared a throwback photo of herself performing shirshasana. Her husband, Virat Kohli, can be seen supporting her perform the tough asana.
Anushka Sharma is expecting her first child with husband Virat Kohli. The actress, who is a fitness freak and loves doing yoga, is performing all those yoga poses during her pregnancy that she used to do earlier. In her latest Instagram post, she can be seen doing shirshasana, while Virat can be seen helping her.
WHAT DID ANUSHKA POST?
Anushka Sharma shared a throwback photo of herself performing shirshasana while Virat Kohli can be seen supporting her by holding her legs. In the photo, the actress's baby bump can be seen clearly. She is wearing a black T-shirt and blue yoga pants. Along with the photo, she wrote a long note about how she is able to perform yoga poses even during pregnancy. "This exercise is ‘hands-down’ (and legs up) the most difficult one. #Throwback," she captioned the photo.
Anushka added, "P.S. As yoga is a big part of my life, my doctor recommended that I can do all such asanas that I was doing before I was pregnant barring twists & extreme forward bends, but of course with the appropriate and required support. For the Shirshasana, which I have been doing for many years, I ensured that I used the wall for support and also my very able husband supporting me balance, to be extra safe. This was also done under the supervision of my yoga teacher @eefa_shrof who was virtually with me through this session. I'm so glad I could continue my practice through my pregnancy (sic)."
ANUSHKA BACK TO WORK AMID PANDEMIC
Before welcoming her baby in January 2021, Anushka Sharma is wrapping up her pending commitments. She recently resumed work in Mumbai amid the coronavirus pandemic with all safety measures. The actress is happy to be back on sets after months of staying at home. Pictures and videos from the actress's shoot are going viral where she is giving some major maternity fashion goals.

In August, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli took the internet by storm when they announced that they are expecting their first baby together. The couple shared an adorable picture of the two of them on their social media handles. In the photo, Anushka can be seen flaunting her baby bump for the first time. “And then, we were three! Arriving Jan 2021,” Anushka had captioned the photo.
Anushka and Virat’s baby will be a coronial, which is the term being assigned to the generation being conceived during the novel coronavirus quarantine period.
