You can book these Logan Airport deals for travel in 2021 on Travel Deal Tuesday

Due to the pandemic, there are more deals on future travel, according to Hopper.

Even if you aren’t comfortable traveling right now due to the coronavirus pandemic, it’s a great time to book your 2021 trip if you want to save money, said Liana Corwin, consumer travel expert for the flight tracker app Hopper.

Travel Deal Tuesday, taking place Dec. 1, offers more travel deals than Black Friday and Cyber Monday, said Corwin, whose company — which has a location in Cambridge — helps travelers plan more than 150,000 trips a day. Last year, Hopper detected an average of 34 deals per second on Travel Deal Tuesday, Corwin said.

“One thing that’s very different this year is that most of the providers we have spoken to are offering deals for future travel,” Corwin said. “A lot of travel providers are hopeful that in spring and summer of next year, we’ll be in a different place [with the pandemic], so they are providing a lot of deals further out than they have in years past.”

Corwin said domestic airfare prices will be 30 to 40 percent lower than they were last year. Deals out of Logan International Airport on Tuesday will include round-trip flights to: Miami for $94, New Orleans for $152, Los Angeles for $226, Nassau, Bahamas for $234, and Kahului, Hawaii, for $465. Also, travelers should keep an eye on Hawaiian Airlines, Emirates, and Air Canada, all expected to offer deals, she said.

Corwin said it’s “an amazing time to book a trip” due to the deals and flexibility in the travel industry right now.

“Because it’s such a unique time for travel, a lot of your usual flight and hotel providers are offering much more flexible options than they have in years past,” Corwin said. “It definitely makes sense to book a flexible ticket or book a refundable hotel or rental car.”
