Telepathy: Communication beyond time and distance

1876 – Alexander Graham Bell’s invention the ‘electrical speech machine’, the ‘telephone’ I mean, generated a lot of buzz in the world. Reason – it defied the stoned walls of distance, empowered the human voice to reach from one place to another and brought the people of this world closer. Just as we evolved from apes to humans, these phones too have progressed from rotary dials to smartphones. Social media, emails, conferencing and apps for almost everything that occurs to me -who had thought that communication would ever be so glitzy? This hubbub has left the people to float superficially on the surface of the ocean. The intensity of emotions and wavelength are like pearls trapped in an oyster forever – away from our perception and awareness.

2008 – Early in the morning, the ringtone of my phone disguised itself as an alien spaceship and brought me back from the land of dreams where I was having a conversation with my mother. Surprisingly, as I opened my eyes, I saw mommy’s number flashing on my mobile screen. Maternal instincts are totally driven by pure feelings and strong intuitions, perhaps she caught my frequency.

This extrasensory perception known by all as ‘telepathy’, leaps beyond time and distance as it is gets its velocity from the deeper levels of the mind and heart. When minds synchronize, words lose their power. Somehow, you just know what you know and feel what you feel. Stronger the bond lesser we need these tools of the modern world to convey our innermost feelings.

We do communicate through telepathy but our unawareness makes us dismiss our hunches as dumb. Swayed by the distractions, we are still not ready to trust the fact that we have the power to connect beyond our five senses.

As mobile phones stop working in the no network zone, the physical dimension we are aware of is a no network zone for telepathic communication. Moving closer to our inner self, meditation and picking the spiritual path may open the doors of the non-physical dimension making our antennas stronger to catch the signals of telepathic communication!
