THE Guyana Badminton Association (GBA) recently celebrated the achievements of Guyana’s & Olds College Canada Top Badminton Player, Priyanna Ramdhani, for being the recipient of two major Awards for the Activity Year 2019/2020.

The first award was the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association’s National Scholar Award in recognition of Excellence in Academics & Athletics.

The second was the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference Academic Athletic Award in recognition of a High Standard of Academics Achievement Combined with an Extraordinary Level of Participation in Post-Secondary Athletics.

The national women’s champ has fully demonstrated that success in sports and academics can be done simultaneously.

Priyanna’s only one and a half year in her Scholarship Programme at the Olds College in Olds Alberta Canada has achieved: AB Canada Current Olds College Ranking No.1

AB Canada Current ACAC, No.2 Canada Current CCAA National Ranking, No.4

ACAC All Conference Award (AB Canada) 2020, CCAA National Scholar Award (AB Canada) 2019/2020, ACAC Academic Athletic Award (AB Canada) 2019/2020, Rookie-of-the-Year Olds College (AB Canada) 2019/2020, 4 Times Athlete-of-the-Week Olds College (AB Canada) 2019-2020, to name a few.
