The Flying Fijians are still in France training and completing the COVID-19 protocols before they fly to Scotland for this weekend test at Murrayfield.

Georgia and Fiji will contest the Autumn Nations Cup seventh-place play-off on Sunday.

Both teams finished bottom of their respective pools.

Georgia lost to England, Wales and Ireland in Pool A.

Fiji did not play a single match in Pool B due to a spate of coronavirus cases in camp.

“The team is still in France. They are still trying to abide with the protocols before they fly over to Scotland,”Fiji Rugby Union chief executive officer John O’Connor said yesterday.

Georgia and Fiji have met on four previous occasions. Fiji have won three of those matches, while Georgia have managed only one victory.

The last meeting between the two teams came at the 2019 Rugby World Cup, where the Flying Fijians overwhelmed the Lelos 45-10.
