'Proving flight' of FlyBig Airlines lands in Indore, gets water cannon salute

The 'proving flight' of FlyBig Airlines, a regional airlines to be based in Indore, landed at the city's Devi Ahilyabai Holkar International Airport. Water cannon salute was accorded to the flight on landing at the airport. A 'proving flight' is one in which the operational preparedness of the airlines is tested. FlyBig Airlines will operate under the government's regional connectivity scheme. It plans to offer flights to Bhopal, Jabalpur, Raipur, Nagpur and Ahmedabad.
