Bolton Wanderers are back in League Two action today and kick off December against Port Vale.
The Trotters head into the clash at the University of Bolton Stadium on the back of a five game winning run in all competitions that they will be looking to extend today.
A run of four victories in their previous quartet of League Two outings have taken Wanderers into the top half of the table and just two points from the play-offs.
Standing in their way today are a Port Vale side in a wretched recent run of form, having lost their last five games on the spin.
John Askey's side will be looking to reverse that record today at the UniBol.
Wanderers go into the clash three points and four places ahead of their opponents in the table.

And it proved to be the heaviest defeat Bolton have suffered at the University of Bolton Stadium as they went behind early on thanks to goals from Manny Oyeleke and Leon Legge, before Gethin Jones halved the deficit shortly after.
Tom Conlon added a third from the penalty spot before the break and Cristian Montano scored Vale's fourth a minute after the restart.
David Worrall added the Valiants' fifth and Nathan Smith headed home their sixth just after the hour mark.
Eoin Doyle fired in his seventh goal of the season afterwards while Lloyd Isgrove scored Bolton's third as full-time approached.

It’s hard because I’m so angry and emotional right now that I could end up saying things that I might regret in the future so I’ve told them I’ll see them in the morning at 9 o’clock at Lostock. If they’re going to spoil everyone’s Sunday, we’ll spoil theirs as well and ours and make sure we sift through the debris and make sure they understand that that in a Bolton Wanderers shirt is not acceptable.

Now we got ourselves back into it, we dominated the first half and then we give a silly penalty away. Whether it was a penalty or not is up for debate, I don’t think it was but that’s irrelevant and then we’ve given ourselves another mountain to climb and then we go and say the right things at half-time. We’re thinking we still have a chance because we dominated the game and then within 60 seconds, we’re out of the game and it’s inexplicable. I just don’t see where that’s come from but it’s a rude awakening for us all and we’ll be in first thing in the morning to sift through the debris and make sure that everybody is under no illusion that that is not acceptable.
Evatt on what he puts the result down to
I just think we’d gone out with the wrong attitude. We’ve given them the messages, we knew what it was going to be like, but you have to earn the right in every game. You have to, especially in this division, you have to give yourself a chance and do the ugly side first and the rest of it will come after that. But both halves we immediately shot ourselves in the foot.
Evatt on fans being unhappy after today's result
They’re equally as unhappy as I am. Nobody would have saw this coming. It could have been 15 all. I have never seen a team defend so badly and all the credit that we’ve built up in recent weeks, hard work and five wins on the bounce, all the credit that we’ve built up has now being undone in one game of football. We have to face the consequences. That isn’t acceptable at home against a team that had been struggling for results. From minute one, we were awful.

It’s a rude awakening. Everything we spoke about in the week about them and traditional Port Vale, is they’re physical, it’s hard work, it’s intense, they’ll fight, they’ll scrap, they’ll battle and they outfought us and outbattled us from minute one. It’s not acceptable.
