    ‘Attempt to corrupt healthcare system’: IMA on allowing Ayurveda students to perform surgeries

    After the Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM) allowed postgraduate Ayurveda students to practice 58 surgical procedures after obtaining formal training, the president of Indian Medical Association (IMA) Dr Rajan Sharma called it an “an attempt to corrupt the healthcare system of the country”.
