Dudhsagar Dairy board election to be held on Jan 5

PALANPUR: The for the 16 directors of the Mehsana-based Dudhsagar Dairy was announced by deputy collector of Visnagar C C Patel on Saturday. Patel is the retuning officer for the election which will be held on January 5, 2021.
According to Patel, the nomination can be filed between December 14 and 20. The last date for withdrawal of candidature is December 26.
The polling for the 16 directors from Mehsana, Kalol, Mansa in Gandhinagar and parts of Patan district will be held on January 5, 2021.The result will be declared on the same day, said Patel. The election was due on November 28, but on account of instability following allegation of adulteration in ghee manufactured at Dudhsagar Dairy, the election was postponed.
