CM inaugurates infrastructure projects in Ariyalur district
TRICHY: Tamil Nadu chief minister Edappadi K Palaniswami on Thursday inaugurated 39 infrastructure projects in Ariyalur district. These include a municipality office in Ariyalur and a bridge in Kizhapalur.
He distributed various welfare schemes, including loans, for self-help groups and other beneficiaries in 20 departments.
“Civil work is under way for a medical college hospital in Ariyalur. Rs 347crore has been sanctioned for it,” the CM said
“As far as Covid19 situation is concerned, since the district administration and health department followed the guidelines issued by the state government, fresh infections are declining,” the CM said.

Palaniswami held meetings with farmers’ representatives and SHG women to take note of their demands.
The CM will visit Perambalur district to inaugurate various infrastructure projects completed at a cost of Rs 24.4 crore.
