UP: Four killed in Jhansi accident

JHANSI: Four people were killed and two injured when an uncontrolled car hit two motorbikes consecutively and later plunged into a roadside ditch late on Thursday evening in Gursarai area of Jhansi district.
Police said the car driver was going to Gursarai from Erich in Jhansi when he hit a motorbike coming from the opposite direction near Farida village. One person died and two got injured -- all three riding the bike -- in the collision.
Later, the driver hit another motorbike, killing both the riders on the spot.After this, he lost control and his car fell into a roadside ditch leading to death of the driver.
Circle officer Gursarain, Manish Sonkar, told TOI that both the injured persons had been sent to Jhansi Medical College and bodies of the deceased were sent for postmortem. Police were trying to identify the victims.
