Don’t fancy a water fast? Fionn offers 10 steps to shift your mindset and achieve your goals:
1. Create clear, specific goals aligned with what matters to you.
2. Visualize yourself achieving those goals, feel what it would be like to have achieved them.
3. Notice any excuses or self-doubts that come up when you think about
achieving those goals.
4. Reframe negative thoughts to be empowering. For example, “It’ll be hard” becomes “I’ll make it work.” “I don’t know if I’m good enough,” “I’ll learn to figure it out.”
5. Write down those positive thoughts and read them when you think about your goals.
6. Spread goals out over time, so you are
not trying to achieve them all at once — complete one before moving on to the next.
7. Start small to build confidence. Find someone to keep you accountable, and progressively aim bigger.
8. Reward yourself when you achieve something new, even if it’s a small win.
9. If you fail, learn from the experience and do it better next time.
10. Keep going until you reach your goals or find others that matter more.
