Over £3,000 has been raised by grieving loved ones of a man who died after an attack in Erskine.
We told how Darren Russell was found dead in the Renfrewshire town's Park Drive at around 12.55pm on New Year's Day.
Police confirmed that the 21-year-old, known as Dazza, passed away after an incident broke out at the scene.
Devastated friends and family have paid tribute to Darren online who will 'be missed my so many'.
One wrote: "Rest in peace, Darren.
"It was a pleasure growing up with you.
"Memories I’ll always treasure.
"Shine bright, Dazza."
Another added: "Rest in peace, Darren.
"You will be missed so much by everyone."
A third posted: "RIP, Darren.
"Thoughts are with your family and friends.
"It was a pleasure to have met you."
A JustGiving page was launched on Saturday to help support Darren's devastated relatives.
In less than 24 hours over £3,000 has been raised, smashing the £2,000 target.
A statement on the JustGiving page read: "Weʼre raising £2,000 to Darren Russell.
"To Darren, our nearest and dearest.
"Raising money to help out the family with any worries during this hard time.
"Darren, you will be missed."

On Saturday cops revealed that three people had been arrested in connection and that enquiries were continuing.
They were 27-year-old woman, a 21-year-old man and an 18-year-old man.
The 21 year-old man was later released without charge.
The woman and the teenager are due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Tuesday.
Officers and forensic teams have continued to comb the area as their investigations into the attack continue.
The street has been shut down by police since Friday afternoon.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "We can confirm the name of the man who died following an incident in Park Drive, Erskine on Friday 1 January 2021, as 21-year-old Darren Russell from Erskine.
"His family has asked for privacy at this time.
"A 27 year-old woman has been charged in connection with the death of a 21-year-old man in Park Drive, Erskine on Friday, January 1 2021.
"A 18 year-old man has been charged with assault.
"A 21 year-old man has been released without charge.
"The man and woman are expected to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Tuesday, January 5 2021."
