HC protection to interfaith couplein Bijnor

Prayagraj: The Allahabad high court has provided protection to another interfaith couple from family members and directed the Bijnor police to do the needful to “ensure that nobody interferes in peaceful life of two adults residing together with their own free will”.
One Shaista Parveen alias Sangeeta and her husband, a Muslim, had moved a writ petition stating they have solemnized their marriage and living together by their own free will, but were being harassed by the family members.The court passed this order on January 6.
