3 Tamil Nadu residents die in road mishap in Karnataka's Chamarajanagar

Three people from Tamil Nadu were killed and several others sustained injuries after the tempo vehicle they were travelling in veered onto the wrong side of the road and fell into a gorge in Karnataka's Chamarajanagar early on Friday.

CHAMARAJANAGAR: Three people from Tamil Nadu were killed and several others sustained injuries after the tempo they were travelling in veered onto the wrong side of the road and fell into a gorge in Karnataka's Chamarajanagar early on Friday.
About 11 people injured in the accident were shifted to the district hospital.
The mishap occurred near Gudibore on National Highway-209 in the taluk.

The deceased have been identified as Subramanya (75) and Amaravathi (65), residents of Kanakapalyam. The Identity of the third deceased is yet to be established.
The incident happened when they were travelling towards Mysuru from Tiruppur, according to Chamarajangara police.
