UDUPI/BENGALURU: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat discussed construction of Ram Temple in Ayodhya and recent anti-Hindu developments in Andhra Pradesh with Sri Vishwaprasanna Thirtha of Pejavar mutt at the Poornaprajna Vidyapeetha in Bengaluru on Monday.
Bhagwat called on the seer and paid obeisance at the vrindavan of Sri Vishvesha Thirtha, former seer of the Mutt at the Vidyapeeth.

Sri Vishwaprasanna Thirtha who welcomed the RSS chief with a shawl and a memento discussed the recent developments of desecration of temples across Andhra Pradesh at length. Bhagwat assured the seer that the RSS will carry out its plan of action with regard to these developments. Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy has dubbed the acts of desecration of temples in that state as an act of ‘political guerrilla warfare’.
Recalling the leadership that Sri Vishvesha Thirtha provided to the RSS and its activities in general and to various Hindu causes in particular, Mohan Bhagwat said these were historic in nature and unforgettable. “Sri Vishvesha Thirtha was a great saint and it is an honour to have darshan of his vrindavan,” Bhagwat said, adding the visit to the Vidyapeeth has given him immense satisfaction and also a special sense of inspiration to further his work.
Sri Vishwaprasanna Thirtha placed on record the service of Bhagwat to the nation and his leadership to the Sangh as its chief and felicitated him. The two leaders shared a sense of bonhomie that was seen with Bhagwat and then seer of Pejavar mutt Sri Vishvesha Thirtha, said Vasudev Bhat, a confidant of the Pejavar mutt seer. Incidentally, the vrindavan of Sri Vishvesha Tirtha was consecrated at the Vidyapeeth on December 17.
