Union defence minister Rajnath Singh to visit Shripad Naik in Goa Medical College
Union defence minister Rajnath Singh is scheduled to visit Goa on Tuesday afternoon to pay a visit to Ayush minister Shripad Naik who is undergoing treatment in Goa Medical College (GMC) after a road accident in Karnataka on Monday evening.

PANAJI: Union defence minister Rajnath Singh is scheduled to visit Goa on Tuesday afternoon to pay a visit to Ayush minister Shripad Naik who is undergoing treatment in Goa Medical College (GMC) after a road accident in Karnataka on Monday evening.
Naik, also the minister of state for defence underwent two minor surgeries in the night immediately after he was shifted to GMC post preliminary treatment at a private hospital in Karnataka.
Singh spoke to Goa chief minister Pramod Sawant after the accident to check on his junior minister. The condition of Naik is said to be stable.
Naik's wife, Vijaya and his personnel aide Deepak Ghume were killed in the accident.
