Covid-19 vaccine arrives in Coimbatore

COIMBATORE: A total of 73,200 doses of Covid-19 vaccine reached Coimbatore by road from Chennai on Wednesday.
The vaccines were unloaded and stored in the district’s regional vaccine storage.
The 73,200 doses include 40,600 doses for Coimbatore, 13,800 doses for Erode, 13,500 doses for Tirupur and 5,300 doses for the Nilgiris. Officials said the vaccine would be dispatched to the other three districts.
All the doses for Coimbatore will be stored in its regional vaccine storage. Later, they would be sent to vaccination centres.
