Delhi Jal Board has issued an advisory stating that water supply will be affected on Friday in some south Delhi areas due to repair, maintenance and annual cleaning of underground reservoirs. Residents have been advised to use water judiciously.

NEW DELHI: Delhi Jal Board has issued an advisory stating that water supply will be affected on Friday in some south Delhi areas due to repair, maintenance and annual cleaning of underground reservoirs. Residents have been advised to use water judiciously.
“The shutdown will be for 15 hours, from 10am on Friday to 1am on Saturday,” the advisory read, adding that the south Delhi main line from Sonia Vihar WTP will be affected.
The areas to be hit include Vasant Kunj, Malviya Nagar, Deer Park, Sarai Kale Khan, Lajpat Nagar, GK, Sarita Vihar, Srinivaspuri, Chhatarpur, NDMC and adjoining areas.
