Shooting of Chinmay and Prakruti- starrer going on in Mayurbhanj

Shooting of Chinmay Mishra and Prakruti Mishra-starrer Odia film, Pratyaghaat, is going on in the beautiful and scenic Mayurbhanja district. The team has been shooting at the Belgadia palace for this woman-centric film.

Talking about the shoot, Chinmay said that they have been camping there for last one week and it would continue for another one or two weeks, as the shoot has been going on in the palace and its surrounding areas.“It has been a hectic shooting schedule, as we are trying to finish the shoot as soon as possible. Since it's a different kind of film, we are enjoying every bit of it,” said the actor, highlighting an incident to show the seriousness of their shooting. He added that there was scene where actress Prakruti Mishra had a scene in a water-body in this chilly winter morning.
The film is being directed by Mumbai-based filmmaker Sanjay Ghosh, who had earlier directed another Odia film titled Nishpati. The story of Pratyaghaat is based on a story in which a woman tries to save herself from a hostile situation. Along with Chinmay and Prakruti, the cast also include youngster Ankit. “It’s a film of hardly 4-5 characters and it’s an interesting story. More importantly it's a film with a woman as the lead and supported by few other characters,” Chinmay said.
