Telangana BJP state chief dares debate on Kaleswaram project

HYDERABAD: BJP state chief Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Tuesday dared the TRS regime for an open debate on the Kaleswarm irrigation project. He alleged that chief minister KCR had cheated people in the name of Kaleshwaram project. In a statement he said the chief minister only cheated in the name of touring the project. “ Water was not given to single acre from the project since two years, this is only becoming a tourism spot but will not be useful for the people” he said.
Sanjay alleged that the state government has given a project report of giving water for 17.50 lakh acres to the Union government but telling the people that it will give water to one crore acres.
“ The Detailed Project Report ( DPR) is not yet submitted, we are ready for debate any where, no one cares chief minister KCR’s visit of the project on Tuesday” he said .
However state planning board vice chairman B Vinod Kumar said that there will not be any debate on the abuses of the BJP , rather there can be counter abuses. “ But we are not like that we have discus and debated enough with Union water resources ministry, every decision is taken in view of future generation and cost benefit ratio”
