Kaun Banega Crorepati 12: This contestant's father also appeared on season 12 and even played Fastest Finger First, but could not be make it to the hot seat

The episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 12 started with host Amitabh Bachchan recalling the time he spent with the kids he met during the Students Special week. The show saw glimpses from the student special week wherein the kids were seen having hilarious moments with Big B and also showcasing her knowledge on the hot seat. He then resumed the game with Priyanka Bagdi, a Youtuber from Pune.
Priyanka, who had used her first lifeline 50-50 in last episode, used her second lifeline Flip The Question for Rs 80,000 question and won the amount.She got stuck in the next question for Rs 1,60,000 and used her two remaining lifelines 'Video Call A Friend' and 'Ask The Expert' for the same. She got help from the expert of the remaining and won the cash amount. Priyanka decided to quit the game as she was not sure of Rs 3,20,000. The question for the same was: Where did Rani Ahilyabai, the ruler of the Malwa kingdom, move her capital to from Indore? And the options were: A) Orchha
B) Maheshwar C) Mandu D) Dewas and the correct answer was B) Maheshwar.
She took home Rs 1,60,000.
Host Big B then played a round of Fastest Finger First and Mangalyam Kumar went on to be the only contestant to answer the FFF question. Amitabh congratulated the young boy as he sat on the hot seat. Mangalyam Kumar is a 20-year-old student from Greater Noida who became the 100th contestant on KBC 12.
Host Mr Bachchan shared with the audience that Mangalam's father Dilip Kumar Chaudhari also came as a contestant and played Fastest Finger First in season 12, but could not be on the hot seat. He also informed that Dilip answered all the questions correctly but lacked behind because of his timing. Upon hearing Mangalam's name, Big B recited the shlok and began the game with him.
Mr Bachchan played Mangalam's introduction video in which he was seen sharing that he likes to be alone and enjoys his own company. He further shared that his father has always been interested in GK and current affairs and discussed a lot about it. Mangalam revealed that since his father could not make it to the hot seat, he got upset but after his selection, his father was very happy. Mangalam wants to make his father happy.
Mangalam swiftly answered all the questions but got stuck at Rs 5,000 question and took his first lifeline 50-50 and managed to answer the question. He successfully crossed the first Padhav.
He took the help of his second lifeline Flip The Question for Rs 20,000 and managed to answer a question on World and Current Affairs.
While chatting with Big B, Mangalam talked about solving the Rubik's Cube and impressed the host with his impeccable skills by managing it to solve in 16 seconds. Big B took his live test and was left spellbound when the latter did it in 16 seconds. Mr Bachchan shared with Mangalam that he recently saw a few videos where few artists were solving the Rubix cubes while juggling them and he was amazed with their skills.
Mangalam managed to answer the next few questions back-to-back and won Rs 3,20,000 with two lifelines in hand.
