Six spot-billed ducks found dead in Punjab's Banur

PATIALA: Around six spot-billed ducks were found dead in Nadiali village of Banur in Patiala district on Wednesday, following which veterinary officials collected samples of the dead birds.
Officials of the forest and wildlife department said the birds were found in a pond and the samples will now be sent to the reguonal laboratory in Jalandhar by Thursday.
Wildlife officials said samples would be sent for testing in Jalandhar by Thursday, though there was less chances of death due to flu.
