Bhumi Pednekar and Rajkummar Rao were among the celebs who wished Sushant Singh Rajput on his birth anniversary.

It is rather a grim day as it marks the 35th birth anniversary of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. With fans flooding the Internet with nostalgic memories of Sushant since yesterday, many Bollywood celebrities also took to social media to pay their tribute to him. Among the celebs who led the wishes were Bhumi Pednekar and Rajkummar Rao.

BOLLYWOOD CELEBS WISHES FOR SUSHANT SINGH RAJPUT

Bhumi Pednekar took to her Instagram stories and shared a picture of Sushant Singh Rajput in which he is seen smiling happily in a white shirt. Bhumi captioned the post with just a heart emoji. Bhumi and Sushant have worked together in the 2019 movie Sonchiriya. The film presented a rooted tale set in Chambal and received positive reviews from critics.


Rajkummar Rao shared a picture of Sushant in which he is seen playing a guitar. Rajkummar captioned the picture with a heart emoji. Sushant Singh Rajput and Rajkummar Rao have worked together as the main protagonists in the film Kai Po Che.

Siddharth Gupta, who lived with Sushant Singh Rajput for almost a year, took to Instagram and shared a sweet birthday wish for the late actor.

Sharing a picture of Sushant swimming in a pool, he wrote, "Happiest birthday my bhai. I miss you so much. Only you know what you are to me. All the knowledge and wisdom you imparted on me and everyone you touched in your life will take your legacy forward. Thanks for making me understand consciousness, thanks for teaching me how to love without conditions attached. Thanks for changing my life and helping me find myself. I am sure everyone you met would agree with it. Today i look up in the sky and smile cause i know you are smiling back. My Alien brother (sic)."

Manoj Bajpayee shared a poster of Sonchiriya, a film where he worked with Sushant Singh Rajput, and wrote, "Always remember you celebrate you ,your work and cherish all the time that we all spent with you SUSHANT SINGH RAJPUT !! Jahan bhi ho tum khush raho (sic)."

Ekta Kapoor shared a video with a series of pictures of Sushant from his Pavitra Rishta days. In the end, the video says, "Remembering our Manav." Ekta captioned her post, "Sushi forever ! Shining bright like a star! Love n light wherever u r! Happie birth on earth day (sic)!"

Pulkit Samrat also shared a picture of Sushant wearing a dapper black jacket and wrote, "Happy Birthday Sushant (sic)."

Kiara Advani also remembered Sushant Singh Rajput by sharing a throwback picture of the two from the 2016 movie M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story. The duo had starred as MS Dhoni and Sakshi Dhoni in the film.

Koena Mitra, who has often been vocal in justice for Sushant Singh Rajput, posted a picture of him and wrote, "Happiest 35th Sushant. In our hearts forever Red heartRed heartRed heartRed heartRed heart..... #ssrbirthday #SushantSinghRajput (sic)."

SUSHANT SINGH RAJPUT DEATH CASE

Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead on June 14 at his Bandra home. The actor’s father, KK Singh, had lodged a complaint with the Patna police on July 25, accusing Rhea Chakraborty, Samuel Miranda, and others. In the FIR, he had also accused Rhea of siphoning off crores from the actor’s bank account. None of these charges have been proven yet.

ABOUT SUSHANT SINGH RAJPUT

Sushant Singh Rajput began his acting journey with Ekta Kapoor’s Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil. He then played a leading role in Zee TV’s Pavitra Rishta, which made him a household name. The show starred his then girlfriend, Ankita Lokhande, as the female lead. Sushant then made a transition from TV to Bollywood by playing a leading role in 2013 film Kai Po Che. His last theatrical release was Nitesh Tiwari's Chhichhore, a light-hearted drama that hit the screens in September 2019. Sushant’s last film, Dil Bechara, released posthumously on July 24, 2020.
