HYDERABAD: Banjara hills corporator G Vijaya Laxmi and her followers picked up an argument with Sheikpet Tahsildar Srinivas Reddy and later they allegedly tried to restrain him from going out of his office on Tuesday, since she got annoyed after Srinivas Reddy earlier in the day abruptly hung up her telephone call. Though this incident took place on Tuesday it came to light on Wednesday.
Later Laxmi, who happens to be the daughter of TRS secretary-general K Keshava Rao, lodged a complaint against Srinivas Reddy in Banjara hills police station accusing him of rude behavior.

Later, on knowing about her complaint, Srinivas Reddy lodged a counter complaint accusing her of obstructing him from going out of his office, when he was supposed to go to high court.
Assistant commissioner of police (Banjara Hills) M Sudharshan told TOI that both the complaints were referred for legal opinion before taking any action.
Srinivas Reddy told the media that on Tuesday at around 12pm, Laxmi called him with regard to rejection of some income certificates. But she says she called him in connection with complaints related to the implementation of Kalyana Lakshmi and Shaadi Mubarak. "So, I asked her to refer it directly to me, so that I will get it done. But she raised her voice and due to which I disconnected the call. Later she called me twice but I did not take her call," Tahsildar said.

Following this phone conversation, Laxmi came to Tahsildar’s office in Banjara Hills at 2pm along with her followers.
"There were about 20 members who came into my cabin while I was having lunch in another room. When I came out, she asked me what do you think of yourself, I am the daughter of Keshava Rao. When I was about to leave for the high court, I was again stopped at the main door of the office by them. Then I took another way and left the office," Srinivas Reddy said.
The angry Laxmi was heard telling the staff of Sheikhpet Tahsildar that, "He should have told me, madam I am going out and we will talk later. I was also in an important meeting. It would have been nice if he gave me an answer. But he hung up the phone on me, What does he think? What does he think?"
