Jacquie Beltrao celebrated as she got her Covid vaccine after claiming she was a "pushy patient" due to battling breast cancer.
The Sky News Sports presenter, 55, took to her Instagram on Wednesday to share her excitement while explaining a spare jab became available at her local GP.
She said she was due to get one soon as she's high-risk, but wanted to speed up the process so called her GP surgery.
Jacquie wasn't expecting the surgery to get back so quickly, and was left surprised when they offered her a jab there and then.
"Got my Covid Vax today," she wrote. "I was due to be done soon anyway because of well... you know but I thought I'd ring the GP just to put myself on their radar - just in case there was spare vaccine at the end of the day ... and guess what there was!
"Sometimes/always you need to be a pushy patient."
The TV presenter added she will report back to her fans after hearing the vaccine can cause aches and gives out a flu-like aftermath.
She added: "It was very quick, a very small needle, I'm told it makes your arm ache and can make you feel a bit fluey - I shall report back tomorrow. #covid #vaccination."
Jacquie also posted a selfie taken just moments after she had the jab.
She looked very happy, even though her facial expression was covered by her face mask.
"Done," she wrote with a tick next to it.
Lots of her fans praised her for getting the vaccine.
Among the sea of comments, one wrote: "Brilliant, stay safe."
Another commented: "So glad you got the vaccine."
"You're a great girl and a fine example for everyone," a third said.
Jacquie first found out about her breast cancer on Christmas Eve 2013, and she was later diagnosed with a second round of the disease in August 2020.
