Shares of Vinco Ventures, Inc. (BBIG) surged nearly four-fold on Thursday morning after the company announced agreement to merge with Zash Global Media and Entertainment Corp., a U.S. based entertainment, content and distribution company.
BBIG is currently trading at $5.89, up $4.35 or 282.47%, on the Nasdaq.
Zash is led by former MoviePass Chairman Ted Farnsworth, Jaeson Ma, a Music.ly, Triller and TikTok investor, as well as social monetization expert Vincent Butta.
Zash claims a current follower network of more than 350 million users worldwide. The company also says that its platform has led to over 2 billion video views.
