Chirayu Amin given FGI lifetime achievement award

Vadodara: Chairman and managing director, Alembic Pharmaceuticals Ltd, Chirayu Amin has been given life lifetime achievement award by the Federation of Gujarat Industries (FGI). The industrial body organized its 16th FGI Awards for Excellence presentation ceremony on Tuesday.
The awards were given in 14 different categories including research in science and technology, pollution management and sustainable practices, outstanding MSME, outstanding business leader, export performance and promotion, green business award to name a few.
While Ami Organics from Surat was awarded in research in science and technology, Bharat Parenterals walked away with outstanding MSME award. Chandrakant Patel, MD of ICE Make Refrigeration Ltd, Gandhinagar got outstanding business leader award while Raymond Ltd got green business award. Minister of state for Narmada and Urban Housing, Yogesh Patel gave away the trophies to the winners.
In the social welfare and rural development category by individual, NGO or institution, FGI presented Rs 50,000 to the winner for meeting part of their expenses.
